It's a symbiotic relationship with the clickers - the algo wouldn't do what it does if the clickers didn't do what they do, but the clickers wouldn't do what they do if the algo didn't do what it does

I completely disagree. In fact, I think it's our moral obligation to fight AI in some areas (I don't even deny it could be very useful in other areas). Anything creative qualifies for that.

You are not king of the world so you don't get to decide what other people do and do not use AI for. There are a lot of people, including a lot of creatives who are already using AI to help them create things they never could do before. You aren't going to get them to stop and you aren't going to stop other people from starting. You are just fighting a war that you already lost. Pointless.
