No rack means no serious big acts are going to use it. Even Kemper has a rack and 99 % of the time when you see it live that’s the format. Same for Axe, 3 is used by big acts and FM 9 for the pub players.

You don't get much bigger or more serious acts than that.

Lol, the line6 guys said that rack units massively undersell compared to everything else and that’s why they’re not bothering with stadium. “Pros” had their chance at using rack units and I guess everyone chose floor models instead.

If they offered a rack unit I’d personally heavily consider it over a floor unit (for the content I make these days), but either works for me.

And yeah no one seems to have issues touring with multiple quad cortexes, just get a rack shelf.

Yep. It seems to me that rack vs floor unit barely matters for most of these sort of rigs and how they’re actually used anyway. In some ways it maybe matters more in a studio (I’d actually prefer a rack unit for home / studio as it would be a whole lot easier to fit for me than a big floor unit lol)

I think rack belongs in a home/studio 100% more than on the road, stationary and space saving.

This makes me miss when I had my rackmount synth and FX setup with a patchbay… I traded “up” for better interfaces, but wow it was so efficient, and fun and very quick to work with too.

This was exactly what I was thinking when I said that people who like the HX Stadium will find a way to use it without having a rack version. Even if it means cramming it into a 2-3 unit rack drawer.

I totally agree that it will be used this way but I am disappointed that the rack format is not an option.

What reason is there to think it's a transition product though? Seems packed with features. And how would someone who buys the helix stadium perceive being offered a "legit agora modeler" only a year after? Would the stadium not get more agora sims or?
