Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

Lol, the line6 guys said that rack units massively undersell compared to everything else...
Correct.
...and that’s why they’re not bothering with stadium.
Never said we won't make a rack version, just that all the "Whaaa! Where's the rack?!" complaints have a legitimate answer based on metrics, which inform road map priority. Unsurprisingly, we've had a Stadium Rack design for many years, just like we've designed dozens of other products that may or may not actually see the light of day.

It all depends on what the masses demand and how Stadium is embraced, but to be honest, nearly every time I've asked "What would a Stadium Rack accomplish that Helix Rack could not, sales-wise?" the answer is always "here are the reasons why rack formats are beneficial," which A) doesn't answer the question I asked, and B) no duh.

I think the only way it has an advantage in sales to HX rack is if you can somehow make it 1U, but then you have to have the interface remote and then is it really Stadium?

Nah, he's just argumentative, and picky. He should have known better than to ask the company rep how realistic the modeling is. That indeed is a silly question. But outside of that, he's just picky AF. And weirdly so, because I can't believe someone so picky thinks Kemper sounds good. But hey, all subjective.
I like Andy and I am glad he's here. He is an example of someone that can be opinionated and argumentative but still have a laugh at it.

I'll bite. Did you run a clean Axe FX III preamp model into an appropriate real power amp and matching real cab? Because the modeler is never responsible for the inadequacies of one's playback system.

Yes 2/50/2 and an EvThiele gains are fine but not the clean imo . I also tried a 2/90 and a 2/20 . When I hook up a formula pre or an X88ir or X99 it comes to life .
I have a choice at the studio;
