touchscreens aren't a complete showstopper as long as there is a viable quality bluetooth app and stable connectivity. IMO. although if my ipad died I'd be changing my tune. If it comes with it already all the better.

No eye candy there for sure but meh dont need that to make great tones

Hitting the edit button a bunch of times to get to the effect near the end of your signal chain in 2025 is ludicrous. Have fun when you go past it and have to loop back around to the start and do it again, which I do about 25% of the time, along with an expletive.

In 1995 maybe, but these days the entire UI should live on an iPad and connect seamlessly over wireless/BT. An Android tablet option would be nice as well.

VP4 is already way easier to use than any of their other products so I think they’re on the right track and realize they need to step up.

It’s “way easier” because it’s not near as complex as their other devices. Can’t really say they are on the right track. It’s still not great by any means

For some people, there can "be only one" because these aren't cheap devices. That doesn't mean there needs to be territorial pissing though.
