No, that’s a different section. We still have the illusion of order here.

What the fuck are you talking about? The product that we are all hating on was just announced today. There are not a fuck ton of bands and studios at all levels happily using it today, much less for the last 14 years. So much hate for a product that a f*ck-tons of bands and studios at all levels have been happily using for ~14 years to tour and record with.

This isn't a point that we have opinions on here. A product was announced today so factually, there can't be a ton of people using it. Nobody has used it yet. People aren't hating on Kemper Mk1. They are hating on how limited in scope Kemper Mk. II is.(2) Gonna have to agree to disagree on this one.

No one is hating. What a silly arse comment.
The blerb mentions that it gets "new profiling" but I suspect that simply means that is plays the new profile format. Funny thing is the label on it says "profiler" so perhaps it will inherit that feature afterall.Where is anyone seeing that the Player can profile? It’s not in the new manual at all.
So far it seems the only obvious change (I see anyways) is that the player now has the extra fixed pre and post fx slots.Me happy its future proof!
Only concern..If they indeed updated the profiling, my mk1 toaster possibly will not have that ability, which makes getting my own captures into the kpp challenging :)
Its not for everyone, but I get it. As Many physical knobs as possible for immediate acces at a gig, screen big enough to handle emergencies, when you need to do more elaborate stuff, you use the editor on mobile device or pc. Probabably cost saving also.
Between Kemper and QC, very different, both work perfectly fine for me. QC is always a click before editing, kemper often none, sometimes 1, sometimes more. Needs an external screen when you want to go through lists efficiently.
They did. Just as gate, chorus and pure boost.Looking through the new manual...did the Kemper already have Transpose and Double Tracking?
It literally feels like Ultra to 2 felt for me.I get it now.. Mk. 2 similar to AXE Mk. 2.
What I wanted was a Kemper VERSION 2.
New fx load on player here not on toaster. You sure? I don’t read into it that the new efx slots are going to OG units, new profiling won’t go there either
It’s 10 new fixed blocks, 8 existing and the amp/cab ones. For a total of 20People have called Kemper and asked them directly.
The answer was Player is getting the new Profiling capability.
EDIT: As I really look at things, I'm not sure anymore. I think someone at Kemper needs to confirm publicly that the Player will get the ability to actually Profile. I've re-read several of their marketing materials and they're not even consistent on the total number of effect blocks - sometimes it's 20, sometimes it's 18. Yeah, it's 18 if you count the amp and cab blocks, and 20 if you count the input and output blocks - but I don't consider those effect blocks. So my bullshit meter has been activated.
The usb is 8 channel meaning 4x4. And the player had that from day 1. Toaster is 2x2.The player is interesting
And first it was pay walled level 1 and Level 2
Then they gave away half of level 1 for FREE
Now Level 3 basically added
Looper
8x8 interface
8 efx blocks
Dual path
According to the release they are now automatically given everyone 16 fx slots and the 8x8 interface for FREE
So technically if you don’t care about looper you are getting a lot of extras
No one is hating.

Now that said they are somewhat utilitarian.
My 2012 Mac mini also looks close to the same as my current oneI loved my 2012 Mac mini when I got it in 2012. If someone tried to sell it to me today for ballpark same price I paid for it in 2012...I'd hate on them.
