Kemper Profiler MK 2

Maybe Sweetwater isn’t interested until it actually sounds better than existing models.
I don't think toan has stopped them before. And my ENGINEER said the list is filling up quick. Could all be marketing ploy tho.

But honestly if the new algorithm is out at the same time SW stocks them, it does make most sense

I only see 8 new fixed blocks on my Lvl3 Player:
Fixed FX Pre has Transpose, Noise Gate, Compressor, Pure Booster, Wah Wah, and Vintage Chorus for 6
Fixed FX Post has Air Chorus and Double Tracker for 2

Where are the other two new ones that make it 20?
My clear inability to count. You’re correct

I truly hated the kemper (really) tone wise and the feel.

BUT!
Everyone’s laughing at the screen, but on my Stage it was more than enough in live situations.
And as much as I love fractal (and I love my fm3 a lot) kemper had a built in wifi/bt chip and everything could be done on an iPad.
And it’s a shame fractal doesn’t have this possibility in 2025.

And the design of the stage is I think one of the best in digital world for guys that doesn’t like to tapdance all night long.

5 main switches = 10 tones
4 double switches for effect.
Tap tempo switch
Looper and Tuner switch that can be reprogrammed

Of course it was a really fixed setting and does not have 20% of the fractal footswitches magic but what a no brainer to play !

But the tone was horrible for me. The latency was way too high too.

According to feedback from some KPP users, the following improvements have been widely observed after upgrading to OS13:

  1. Optimization of string response: The response to plucking force is more delicate, especially the transition from weak (p) to strong (f) is more natural
  2. Improved dynamic linearity: A smoother volume curve during continuous playing, reducing the previous "stepped" sensation.
  3. Reduced latency: Some users noted a decrease in note-triggering delay
This is also my own feeling. I don't know what you think?

Probably placebo since I don't see anything about audio change in their 13.0 change log

As an FM3 owner and user, the above is posted almost verbatim after every major Fractal update ... looks like it now Kemper turn ;)
