Kemper Profiler MK 2

It’s 10 new fixed blocks, 8 existing and the amp/cab ones. For a total of 20

I only see 8 new fixed blocks on my Lvl3 Player:
Fixed FX Pre has Transpose, Noise Gate, Compressor, Pure Booster, Wah Wah, and Vintage Chorus for 6
Fixed FX Post has Air Chorus and Double Tracker for 2

Where are the other two new ones that make it 20?

It’s a German company, I can see that getting lost in translation. There’s nothing in the manual about capturing with the device.

Now they added USB audio a decade after releasing the Kemper so I won’t discount completely but for now it’s the profile player.

I went through the Kemper forum and the only reference I saw was “Kemper confirmed this” which referred to the website ad copy.

I guess Christophe may have to confirm or deny personally.

I saw one remark “i talked to Kemper and they confirmed it”…which doesn’t make me bet my month salary on it…but all things combined, my pendule is pointing to “it will get profiling”. On their site i read it as a plan for the future, which explains why it’s not in the manual today.

We will see
I hope so!, I use my own profiles which I make with the OG toaster. Assuming the OG doesn’t get the new profiling tech, im gonna have a challenge to utilize the new tech on the KPP if that doesn’t profile itself.

Ok I watched their video and yes, it's the same old Volume Pedal and the Noise Gate that's always been in there. I think it's a bit lame they're highlighting these as effects now, when they're utility functions that already existed.

It looks like they added a second noise gate though. The fixed effects are definitely more stripped down but they could be useful. It's annoying the Player doesn't have a modulation block after the amp/cab outside of the $280 paywall.

In southern hemisphere it is officially winter on Sunday, June 1st. So when does summer start officially in US/Europe/Canada?

I contacted support, and they confirmed that the player will support profiling. This will need to be done on a PC or Mac using Rig Manager.

In the video they say it’s a new and different Noise Gate from the one that is already there. Called “palm ninja” internally. At about 24:15 in the video.

Maybe Sweetwater isn’t interested until it actually sounds better than existing models.
