I upgraded to that. I had been using a shovel.
They largely fixed the high end with V2. No eq matching needed anymore on my end.View attachment 53746
Yo….so anyone here running direct V2 captures? We’ve got a new puppy in the house so my nice amps are locked up out of the chomp zone for a while. I’m getting HELLA lively presence on the V2 captures, like the blanket was pulled off the speakers. It’s significant. I had tried this on V1 and didn’t love it.
Tonex direct V2 caps into a guitar cab just became a viable live option for me. Some of these recto caps are punishing.
I had noticed that through IRs. It seems like there are “feel” changes as well. It’s hard to compare with certainty because caps vary, but I’m feeling more bounce and a more natural pick attack, or like the pick attack has more of the amp character. They largely fixed the high end with V2. Ya gonna go by without posting pics of the puppy? We’ve got a new puppy in the house

I see the improved feel too. Had V1 captures of my fractal tones. Prefer the feel of V2 versions.I had noticed that through IRs. It seems like there are “feel” changes as well. WelcsOk, WTF IK. Tonex One when used to output computer audio does not have working volume control on MacOS. The slider just does nothing so it's like Tonex One is at 100% volume all the time. The only way to adjust volume level is via individual apps (e.g Spotify).
I thought I could use it as a simple audio interface for headphone out this way.

Yeah I'd at least expect some sort of bare minimum class compliant implementation, or the ability to adjust the output volume somehow on the TXO.Yeah, that's pretty lame, really. But in fact, the entire audio interface business of the TXO is. Pretty large recording offset due to lack of proper driver communication, way less than shiny RTL, no way to level your DI tracks, let alone recording DIs while monitoring through captures. Etc.
Should still be pretty useful on the road (recording what you hear and compensating for the offset), but I know the moment will come when I have everything leveled down in, say, Logic, and accidentally start a YT video at full volume...

It will only control the guitar modeling volume, even the global output volume won't do anything for the audio from the computer.I am pretty sure you can adjust the output volume on the One, but you need to be in one of the alt modes I can never remember without a cheatsheet that I lost.

Anyone on Windows tried if the TONEX ASIO driver functions normally in this regard?
