Shark fins, dots or gtfo.Block inlays on the shredder guitars is a big no for me. Just doesn’t look right on an Ibanez
Definitely not my fave, but I’ll take em over plain old dots anyday.Block inlays on the shredder guitars is a big no for me. Just doesn’t look right on an Ibanez
The best blocks are the ones that don't look so... blocky. Gibson's are pretty cool.Definitely not my fave, but I’ll take em over plain old dots anyday.
In your opinion, how many centuries will guitar companies (all of them) be able to sell more of the same every single year before market gets over saturated?
For those of us who don't want to sit through an Andertons video
I see sig basses but no more sig guitars?????
Nice! Still enjoy my '77 Artist.Unless someone else speaks up, I'm gonna grab the title of earliest adopter of Ibanez guitars on the board.
Had one of these around 1977.

I'm okay with the "but its fancy plywood!" neck approach, but I do.not. understand the body on this one: https://www.ibanez.com/usa/products/detail/s1070pbz_1p_03.htmlWho doesn't want a 27 piece poplar neck?!?!?!?
I love S's, and then I own one and fight with it tonally, get along okay with the neck but still prefer my standard Fender/Gibson style necks more, etc., etc., etc. and...sell it at a huge loss. However, I don't REALLY think I've learned my lesson. Maybe its time to just "buy one and keep it no matter how much it sits unplayed"....I love S's, but I really am pissed they gave in and did 24 fret necks. Lame.

In 1977 I didn't even have my plastic Kiss guitar yet...Unless someone else speaks up, I'm gonna grab the title of earliest adopter of Ibanez guitars on the board.
