Probably Pink Floyd. Multiple songwriters. Various epochs/periods. Growth and evolution.
Vocal harmonies. Melodic leads. Psychedelic influences. :love

There is stuff from them in the late 60s that predates punk and thrash. Those intense/heavy
moments are not often noted by many people. They did it all. And brilliantly.

Lots of favourite bands, but the two that were huge for me as a kid and young guitar player, and that have stayed with me throughout my life are ZZ Top and Van Halen.

Some other major favourites:

AC/DC
The Police
King's X
Soundgarden
Black Sabbath
Tori Amos
PJ Harvey
Nirvana
Tony Rice
Larry Sparks
Ralph Stanley
Bill Monroe
Norman Blake
Gillian Welch

Along with Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, of course.

Shinedown not because they have amazing guitar tones but because they are always doing something different
The are incredible live
And Sound of Madness is one of my all time favourite records
