I swore I’d never

Now that’s a price I can live with lol… what adaptor would I need to use? Something like this?

Should work. Only thing I would advise, is find one as flush and flat as possible, as to not present issues. But this is more than sufficient.

Is the hx a standard midi port? If it is an 1/8" one like my mx5, you could just go 1/4" trs to 1/8" trs.... forgoing any midi connections at all. Just midi over TRS.

Also, haven't messed with it, since I set it up.

Might not be the best idea in terms of organizing things though. The MIDI port of the Stomp is sitting on the left side, so the plug will stick out quite a bit, an angled one would be way better. However, in case @spawnofthesith will more or less keep the board as shown on the pic, there will be enough space.
Yeah, this is why I said functionally.... aesthetic is a personal preference thing.....that is why I said flat and flush as possible....right angle works too....but functionality wise, it is the same either way...so yes ....choose your own adventure, so to speak.

Walmart has the best price and fastest delivery for the controller lolol

I was looking at reviews of a lot of the Amazon adaptor cables and after watching a couple vids on YT I decided to play it safe and go with the boss option. Seems like a lot of the random Amazon stuff isn’t wired quite right perhaps…

Boss one is reported to definitely work with the stomp at least

Thanks for the recommendation @likitlikeyoulikeit !!

The correct cable should be arriving any minute now too. Looking at Reddit threads and watching some videos I’m pretty stoked. Sounds like I can free up all 3 HX buttons to be stomps now, and then on the chocolate button A can be scroll preset up or down with short/long tap, button B hold for tuner or tap tempo and C and D an additional 2 stomps! Incredible

Yeah man, as long as you take the time to figure it all out ..the app and unit are very versatile...it even does keyboard shortcuts.....very impressive for the price.

Glad it does what you need it to do!👍

I've never programmed midi before, only used midi for tempos in the past but I've been studying up and watching videos so feeling somewhat prepared

Let me know how you get on. If you like it and it works while gigging I'll definitely get one.

Programming was dead Simple even for me, I got hung up on thing for a minute but it was something really dumb I forgot to change the FS output to trs to midi from expression which it defaults to

Seems to be working great and flawlessly, have an “out of town” gig next week so we’ll see how my completely reworked setup goes. Bass player just reworked his setup too fingers crossed
