It wasn’t that bad, but not the easiest thing to do. Having fully working switches afterwards, is pretty satisfying though.

So weird, usually, after around the 6th or 8th screw, when in INSIDE a unit, is when I usually say “nope”, and abandon ship, for an expert to do it, but I soldiered on, past the point of no return, and did it myself.

I had to go in a couple of times, as a couple were being stubborn, but I was smart and didn’t put every circuit board screw back in, until I tested the switches, so I didn’t have to go back and do it again, etc.

Props to you. It looks tight in there (TWSS). Glad to hear it wasn’t too bad. Luckily my stomp xl was under warranty when mine acted up. I haven’t seen/heard anyone doing it themselves on the stomps til now. I’m almost on my last re-up of my warranty and I’m dreading the day I have to open it up and do it myself.

I had actually JUST purchased and extended warranty for it, with the sole purpose of sending it in for this, but there’s a 15-day waiting period for it to take affect, and I didn’t feel like waiting that long.
