HX backups. Do they run silently in the background?

Attempting to update my Stomp to 3.6. Go to perform a backup and it just sits there. Is the backup running silently in the background or am I dumb and missing something?

A progress window should pop up and bars should move. Stomps backup and update pretty fast compared to the bigger guys..

It's not. I'm doing it from HX Edit.

Did you try rebooting the Edit app or the Stomp?

Was this a manual backup from the menu or was it a prompted backup when trying to update?

Tried it both ways. I exported my 4 presets and 3 IRs I use if I need to start from scratch.

Updater seems to have worked. So far so good

You need the new HX Edit too if you don't already.

My process:

• Download New Edit, Install.
• Download New FW (this prompts a backup).
• When complete, power cycle holding the appropriate buttons for Factory Reset
• Reload backup
• Power Cycle
• Enjoy

In the fx loop. It handles routing, IR loading and post effects duties. As well as amp channel switching via midi. Pretty slick.
