Hats off, Line6. What a way to celebrate the 10th anniversary. You managed to make me want to spend an amount of money I would have never ever thought I'd spend on a modeler.

My personal thoughts after this presentation: Some things are adressed nicely (and even really, really nicely), some aren't adressed at all it seems. As said, still no global blocks (which seem to have gained more than just Mr. Franck's interest) and no words about whatever kind of synth-stuff, a parameter modulation system of whatever sorts. The latter being something I'd be really interested in - the only companies doing that kinda stuff still seem to be FAS and Boss.

No. See my last reply. I think it's a bummer if they don't add any kind of the more experimental stuff.

On the other hand, you could automate all of your switching in Showcase to one footswitch going sequentially through the song that preset is for and not even have to think about it.

That's part of what's so amazing about this....they have taken warp-speed leaps ahead of the competition in terms of usability and user experience.
