Helix JCM800 2203 Request Thread (FW 3.70 new Brit 2203)!

The tone was always a struggle for me, but it was awesome for gigging. I'm actually considering an HX Stomp (just for effects) + ES5 at this very moment to replace my M9 and add presets to the rig.

@dk_ace actually there was quite a bit of back and forth way back on TGP.

I remember a ton of user discussion, but I don’t remember L6 engaging with it. Probably just my crappy memory…,

Earth to Line 6.... WAKE UP.
I've been wide awake since June 11, 2015. No one on the planet knows more about what the public thinks about every single little tiny thing in Helix/HX World than I do.
Sometimes Line 6 needs a little (huge and annoying) nudge to get their head out of the facebook hipster-sphere.
How could anyone think Facebook is "hipster"? Hipsters wouldn't be caught dead there. If anything, FB's "old man yelling at cloud" territory. Besides, I spend way more time on TGF and TGP than I do on FB.
I also find it odd that Line 6 people become absent when users report bugs or dissatisfaction with particular amp models, I at least hope they read these threads as research to help them find the true source of the issue and how to fix it in the most productive way.
I have to remind people of this every so often: I've never visited any social media platform on Line 6's behest. I post where I want to post, and that includes specific threads that interest me. I'm not a Sound Designer, so I'll forward those links to Ben, Sam, and Ryan but nine times out of ten they've already seen it. They've absolutely seen this thread.

Now if you start a thread bitching about my custom fonts or iconography, however, I'll be there with my scrote tote on, ready to fight.
I think it is their long-standing policy that they don’t publicly discuss upcoming features/models, for a variety of reasons. That’s likely the reason why people like DI are active in these forums but never appear in threads like this. However, past history does indeed show they’re listening, and probably trying to accommodate our wishes as much as they can within their higher-management roadmap.
Kinda. I just don't have the knowledge to talk amps like most of y'all. I do know our 2204's missing the bright cap and there's another mod on the input; it sounds identical to the amp we have in house so there's nothing "broken" about it other than perhaps the name—we're considering renaming it something like "Brit 2204 No Cap" or something, if only because "Brit 2204 Mod" is already taken.

I also know the PV Vitriol Crunch channel's been looked at; haven't heard where we're at there. Most of my day involves products the public won't see for years.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Despite how it probably looks, we know you guys are busy and what you do is complicated. You are always a good sport even when we’re being animals.

And all it cost us was @James Freeman ’s sanity and social reputation with his 89 pages of pressure and whining spread across multiple forums and multiple personalities! ;)
:rofl

I'm totally fine... what's a few personalities and a couple of years between a friend. :wat

Long after the new thing has been released, say a decade+ from now, people will be searching for an 'outdated' modeler that sounds 94% there and has many of the most sought after models, HX/Helix will be easy to recommend.
In the last few years since I've been on board, Line 6 added features and models that will be perfectly usable 15 years from now.
We are entering an interesting era where modelers hold their sound value for much much longer.
