Helix JCM800 2203 Request Thread (FW 3.70 new Brit 2203)!

So I'm thinking, why not Line 6 take the badly modified 2204 in their possession and apply various great mods on it and model them?
Jose Arredondo, #34, J.Lee, etc... popular mods that people actually used back in the 80s and not just bright cap hating strat players.
This particular 2204 has been fuxked with pretty badly already so it's not like they're destroying a pristine collectible, this is a huge opportunity for Line 6.

Very easy for them to have it put back to factory spec if they want to as well.

As much as I think that amp sounds like garbage, annoyingly it’s part of the Line 6 story now and should probably stay as is. Nothing stopping Line 6 buying a load more 2204’s, and building clones if they want more variations or a deep dive or whatever.

Stock 2204 would be awesome, as well as the Jose/JEL/34/36/Langner etc mods

This 2203 definetly passed the LP test for me.

Neck pickup is dialed down to 2-3 (tone at 7) to get a "more hairy" clean, both pus give you a rhythm, bridge pu gives you the lead. Awesome.

Spent a few more hours tonight playing the 2203 and Dripman (great name!), and also tried out the OD-1. These latest models really are on-par with Fractal, IMO. Not bad for a device that was released in 2015! I love my Helix, the refined classy black Cadillac of modelers

I can't stand playing with a plugin so I recorded some DI along with playing the Axe and applied Native to the track, the Helix 2203 sounds freaking killer, proper Marshall tone!
