Helix 3.7: The Freeman Update

I request for the Tuner button to be instantaneous, I REALLY couldn't care less for tap tempo.
Actually, remove the tempo display form the scribble strip entirely, it's a thorn in my eye, make it just say Tuner.
I play metal and have zero need for atmospheric whale sounds or permanent footswitch assignment for it.

Use the Command center and assign CC68 to the Tap/Tuner switch

Playing post-vacation catch-up here. Re ballistics, I used to hate on the Helix's ballistics but think they've landed in a good place. Not as good as Kemper's, but I'm no longer noticing it as a source of friction in getting things done.
I also hated when, in the past, I had to turn any Helix knob too many times to go from one extreme to the opposite. Now it's much better, but I understand the complaints about how it is still difficult to adjust very small changes, because now the knobs change any value very quicly.
If I'm not mistaken, I have always appreciated Zoom (cheap) multi-effects in the past about this detail; it seems to me that Zoom had found a good balance between the "accelerated change" when turning the knob more quicly and "small degree adjustments" when you turned the knobs slowly.

Yeah it's difficult to do just right so that the acceleration applied doesn't come on too quick or slow. I think NeuralDSP did a great job with this on the QC where its knobs felt quite natural to adjust.

Thanks for the heads-up! :D

I applied two years ago, iirc filled applications are still standing.
