Got me a used gpa 100 for the price of weekend groceries: pedalsize 100w poweramp..so cheap it’s silly.
It’s meant to go under my pedalboard to save me bringing a poweramp to a regular gig where there’s a cab.
Quick try: pretty loud/high headroom. For my kind of gigs (modest drummers, clubs)…more then enough!
‘Nice that it has a tone stack..that’s gonna help to adjust for rooms/cabs/sound of the band.
It sounds decent, quick a/b to the 4xel84 poweramp in my mancave…my biased mind against ss still prefers the tube powersection. At higher volumes I think the top end becomes a wee bit less pleasant. But…enough faith in it to try it at a gig.
If your looking for a ss pedalamp…worth considering.
its 220v…I read you can bridge 2 solder points to suit it for 110…but not personally comfirmed (I’m in the eu)
