gx100 connections

Can somebody please tell me step by step how to connect the boss fs6 with my gx100 .I have the gx 100 connected to my laptop.for example i want to assign delay to the fs6 .What should i be seeing on the screen .I tried several times clicking the fs6 but no signal seems to show.

Connect external pedals as shown in reference manual - noting positions of polarity and mode switches

You can assign some basic functions using Control Function and more functions using Assign Settings

Assign to CTL3 and CTL4 (page right)
