Here’s a body I have been working on for a while.
3lb 4 off centre joint 54 style. The problem with this era is they are all a bit different on the contours so what do you copy?
The main route is CNC but the hand work and specs is me . I may add the jig holes and tooling marks that would be on an original. This is going to be painted on nails ( as Fender did originally) in white blonde nitro and gently reliced to look like an 8/10 condition original.
The contour on a 54 was medium not as radical as 56/7 ended up but these all vary by quite a lot.
I end up overthinking this because before I paint it it I can spend a lot of time tinkering with the details. Yes it’s for me.
54 style hard edge in to the neck pocket.
