Yeah, sure, those hidden beta-testers-only sections are visible even from google results... What will be the next supposition? That he has multiple accounts and logged in on March 5th just to not make us stalkers worry too much?

I just descovered the Wrecker Express and how many cool different tones I can coax out of it with different gain, input trim, master and treble controls along with pickup configuration and picking dynamics.

I decided to dig in to the front panel of the Axe and forgo the editor the past day or two and build a preset that way. It really isn't too bad although my signal path is relatively simple.

I brought it into my son's room last night and plugged into his monitors and let him have a stab at whatever models he wanted. We went down the Marshall rabbit hole for almost an hour tweaking the params and having a good time.

Being in Teleland at the moment I gave the Wrecks a spin this week, along with quite a few other

models I have not visited in some time. Settled on the 5F8 Hi Power Tweed Twin for the time being.


So. Good. Some Tape-driven Slapback. Some Spring. Little Dyna-Comp out front. Yum.






Such a glorious tool, loaded with riches, and unexpected inspiration. Love it.
