Absolutely overrated. When I saw it, I kept wondering why everyone else loved it so much. I don't think I laughed once during the whole film.

You probably didn't smoke enough pot before you watched it. That really is kind of key . . . it makes the flying scenes dreamy!

I wish I could smoke it these days. But I really can't. Anxiety flies through the roof and I end up pulling a whitey EVERY SINGLE GODAMNED TIME!

I do not recommend watching American Psycho on LSD though, unless you have a really good sense of humor. I thought it was hilarious but my friends did not

I haven't dropped acid since the 1970s. Mushrooms, well that's another matter. Acid is too intense for me at this point in my life. But I do love me some "Longbottom leaf"

I had some pretty intense LSD trips when I was in my teens. Not recommended for someone that young, that's for sure (I was 14). Back in the 70s, no one expected to live past 30. I was definitely aiming that way.

I remember dropping acid in my high school student lounge and then tagging along with a bunch of students who were going to a school board meeting to protest against threats to closing our high school. I just sat there and watched the carpet swirl. Or then there's the time I went to see Kiss in 1976. We all dropped microdot and sat at the top of the second balcony in the Seattle Paramount and watched these weird looking cartoon characters in high heels spit blood. That was fun. :) We started laughing so hard that we ended up leaving. None of us were old enough to drive so we caught a city bus. We were sitting in the very back and noticed this guy half-way up the bus sweating and looking like he was having a seizure. We were looking at each not sure what to do when a girl's head popped up from below the seat back. Once it dawned on us what was happening, we laughed so hard we had to get off the bus. The strangest things . . .
