Fractal Talk

I’d still be very excited to see some more low watt boutique amps, like a Benson, or a Matchless Lightning, or Bad Cat Cub…

But most of my model wish list is complete now.

I still think the drive pedals could be improved and the interaction between drives and amps could be better, but mostly we’re down to QOL improvements at this point.

Time to focus development on footswitching improvements IMO

Can you give me specifics on what you find deficient in the drive pedal models? Perhaps post some clips exhibiting this.

When I do A/B tests against the real pedals I can't hear the difference.

Little things like just now discovering that i can change the color of the fm9 tuner makes me giddy lol :D

I changed it to red!

Here’s a question that just popped into my head while watching an interview with Jim Gaustad…

Given the fact that FAS tries to replicate physical gear in the digital space, if I throw say, one of the vintage pedal models into my chain, does it replicate the tone suck that might have occurred with the actual pedal? Is there interaction in regards to input impedance when adding blocks to the signal chain?

My balls are 10.0 blue right now but I have my toans dialed in for a fly gig and don't want to risk it. I'm super happy with the toans I currently have I can't wait to come back and try out the firmware.

28.05

Improved Amp block output transformer modeling.

Tweaked parameters for amps with cold clipping stages slightly to better reflect new insights and measurements.

Remastered all Brit JVM and JS410 amp models. If using these models, it is recommended to do a soft-reset of the model by deselecting and reselecting the type.

Remastered Solo 88 Rhythm and Lead models. If using these models, it is recommended to do a soft-reset of the model by deselecting and reselecting the type.

Remastered all Recto2 amp models. If using these models, it is recommended to do a soft-reset of the model by deselecting and reselecting the type.

Remastered all USA MK IV Lead amp models. If using these models, it is recommended to do a soft-reset of the model by deselecting and reselecting the type. NOTE: The taper of the Overdrive control has changed. Audition and adjust presets as necessary.

Remastered all USA MK IIC+ amp models. If using these models, it is recommended to do a soft-reset of the model by deselecting and reselecting the type. NOTE: The taper of the Overdrive control has changed. Audition and adjust presets as necessary.

Remastered all USA Pre LD2 amp models. If using these models, it is recommended to do a soft-reset of the model by deselecting and reselecting the type. NOTE: The taper of the Gain control has changed. Audition and adjust presets as necessary.

Corrected an error in calculating the bias point of an early gain stage in amp models with five or more gain stages (likely not audible).

Damn I was just anticipating the Super JVM. Whole bunch of badass amps getting some love here.
