YAY fedex updated, says delivery date for my fm9 turbo mk2 is Wednesday!

Guess I just take a guitar break while waiting for it. I could just plug the outs of my vg-800 and gm-800 system into my JBL monitors and play but i'll just take a break! Sometimes a break is good!

The III should land before the weekend. I have such horrible timing, this is my week off for spring break but my daughter's birthday is this week and we have a cracking party scheduled Saturday. I'll have my QSC K8.2 up and running for the party so it may be a fun afterparty for me after most people leave. It's also my son's birthday so we took him to see the Minecraft movie. I spent some time digging into the manual (again) and visual block guide (again) and so far, navigating and programming seems like it shouldn't be too hard -- granted I haven't got to modifiers and MIDI yet.

Playing my Stomp for a while today and going through my curated sounds still brings me to a happy place -- I can't wait to see what happens with the III.

All I'm saying is you're going to notice a big difference and you're going to be like and all of the other stunned and shocked emoji's and then you'll sit there and wonder why you didn't do this earlier, or maybe that's just me but you'll know!!!

Whoa, that is my main OD, has been for years, this is great news! (assuming it will come to the VP4)

And just as I'm considering going all-in on the VP4 in 4cm... (currently have it in amp's loop + analog drives in front)

I can bet it'll come to the other devices for sure. Usually it trickles down the products eventually. May be a few months or something though since fm9 and vp4 just got updates recently, and fm3 people still waiting etc.

I disagree with your characterization that the FM9 just got an update. There was a beta firmware posted to the forum almost a moth ago, but there has been no official update since last October, making it nearly 6 moths since the last firmware release. I do not consider that to be recent.

Well to me a beta firmware is an update with new stuff? Why does it have to be "official" to count?

Unless you don't participate in the beta's? Which are usually fine as i done them with helix many times without issues really.

I would but there's really no way to get there anytime soon. I don't really see the benefit of going to axe fx III as it really doesn't give you much more power than the fm9? And I don't need tone matching as I have nothing to match haha.
