I'm happy with my lowly Roland EV-5. I noticed Steve Vai has been using one for expression duty for a few years too, although I think I saw a Fractal one on his board in one of the later rundowns.

Wouldnt expect much for fractal gear, I think there's like 1 x AxeFx3 for second hand sale in all of Oz lol... had a look and nada.
There's a boss EV-30 not far from me. Otherwise mainly Dunlop or lower tier stuff

Yep, Australia is both a country AND a continent. It's around 4 and a half hours to fly from Perth to Sydney and around 3 from Sydney to Auckland.

Bali is closer to Perth than the Australian east coast. I may as well live on the moon

Is there a goto expression pedal people are using? I've got a decent mooer one but looking to add a second and might as well get something a bit more robust. This one's a bit plasticky... does the job but I wouldnt order a second kind of thing.

I’ve used a modified wah with a linear pot, a Roland ev-5, and a fractal ev-2. The thing the fractal gets right that the others don’t is a truly linear response. That’s why I ultimately replaced the others, their non-linearities cause weird behaviors and problems live that became annoying over time.

I was wondering, if i use the XLR's out to my JBL's that gives me 2 fx loops opened right?

If so, any suggestions for nice xlr cables? I have never used xlr cables on a modeler before.

Anything I should do other than RTFM? Anything to download, watch etc.

No but seriously, have a look at the manual and just plug it in and play around with it. Refer to the manual or wiki or youtube as needed
