I listened on my Bose system connected to my media display......it was stellar, but I didn't expect anything less.Be sure to listen to that video in >STEREO<
I asked him on YT and he replied; "QSC K12"What are Dweezil's monitors...?
Close but not exactly: they're QSC KW122s.I asked him on YT and he replied; "QSC K12"
I'll go with what he says, the ones in the video doesn't look like KW122's.Close but not exactly: they're QSC KW122s.
You could remove all the amps and cabs from the AxeFx, and you’d still need to pry it from my cold dead hands as an FX processor.
The sky is the limit when it comes to delay and verbs tones in the Fractalverse, and when you throw a modulation in front of them…. epic
Obviously love the amps but for me the effects are way better than anything else out there. Line6 has great effects but I’m spoiled with the fm9I don’t think nearly enough people realize this.
Just talking delay, I have never tried or even heard of another delay that comes anywhere close to the capabilities of Fractal’s delay blocks, in both tone and features. Even the FM3 can do more, and to me sounds better, than literally any other company’s delay products you can buy at any price.
Reverbs are slightly more subjective and dependent on the particulars of the specific algorithms, but even so, for me, same goes for Fractal’s Reverbs. For reverbs, I haven’t found any reason to look elsewhere.
Actually now that I think about it, I am completely happy with all of Fractal’s time based effects, compressors, EQ, and pitch effects. I don’t think anything beats them for tone and flexibility.
Did a few songs in the wee hours of the morning on live TV for a fundraiser here over the weekend. We had a 5 minute changeover from the previous act (a country band with banjo & fiddle) and the choice of various small tube combos. Being able to DI the FM9 and get reasonable guitar noises quickly is something I'm so grateful for.

As an additional question, and maybe you've explained this before, what exactly is in the LT TVMix 7 IR? What cab, speakers, mics and their position? Are you using LT TVMix 7?
I also tend to gravitate to the FET, but I've been using the Tape for a long time. Tape gives a slight smoothing to the high frequencies. Sometimes Transformer. Recently getting some cool nuances with the Bipolar or the Exciter. Or Vintage to dial old tones, e.g.: PF Echoes. I don't know if that really makes a difference, but I am sure that they used vintage preamps in 1971Holy crap, folks, don’t sleep on the FET Boost in the drive block. It is deceptively simple but can cop a lot of low-to-mid-gain tones. I had a great time using it in front of the ODS Clean and 2203 High. It can do underdrive, too (or maybe my ears are broken) while not sounding anaemic.
I used to use the FET Preamp in front of clean amps to get that “lift” for solo spots without any gain boost but with some added fairy dust. But the FET Boost seems to do that in an even more pleasant manner.
I suspect he's more of an Axe kinda guy, but you never know...Are you using LT TVMix 7?

Do you still have all of them?
