For the first time since I got my FM9, my excitement over an upcoming firmware is tempered by a simple fact:
I'm deliriously happy with what I have now. I've found factory presets that I love, and all the noise about resets has me a bit nervous....

Then again, I know once that beta drops I'll be in a mad rush to install it....oh well....I'm sure it'll all be mo' better in the end...eventually.

I rarely deviate from my patches. Maybe a few tweaks here and there. But my tone doesn’t change that much. All the “warts and all” Cliff has been adding are just icing on the cake.

Yes.

If you're ever in doubt, soft reset. You'll get the default values back on the channel.

That's the full extent of it.

The rest of the discussion about what an true, "empty" preset would be is mostly noise.
