It was nice knowing you, however brief it was.THIS WILL HAVE AMP MODELING . There is no sense in an effects only unit. And I’m willing to die on this hill.

He's probably using a real amp with this rig on stage.I have a dumb question. Is he running 2 boards? Because I don’t see the Friedman pedal I thought he was running.
Oh aye. "new guy"
I wonder if this is intended to connect e.g FM3 + "FX4" together, which you could further chain to an audio interface I guess since unlike the FM3, there's both a SPDIF in/out?
trapezoid
Don't know the intention but that seems like a logical explanation. No D/A > D/A conversion required, and avoiding added latency.
I was thinking the same. Most of the time people running 4cm are in mono. Perhaps you can set the R in/out to be the FX loop?
In my opinion SPDIF is super important for integration, but for some reason everyone except Fractal omitting it from everything but their flagship.SPDIF.
Is this you dying on a hill? That latest picture which finally looks like it wasn’t shot on a potato -
Why does an FM4 have stereo inputs ? And no XLR out ? Is it… actually an efx unit ?
I'd guess it can.because that, combined with spdif would make it super cool as a desktop unit for recording, wouldn't it?I wonder if it can be powered via usb-c?
Shame the QC doesn't have SPDIF...With this thing fitting so nicely on that pedal train metro, I definitely gotta consider putting one next to the QC on a new board.
Can you imagine an FM9T+"FX4" connected with SPDIF?! I'd have ALL THE BLOCKS!!Somebody knows something
