Thanks guys. I dont really expect to be ”missed” and dont really need that either. But fuckinhell it really warms me up inside. Means a lot, and tells a lot about real things, and separates this forum from a lot of social media platforms.

Anyways. I’m fine. Musically not fine yet, far from it. I guess, after a few months realizing I haven’t even thought one second about music/gear/media in a while - that’s progress for me. Guitar is in a case and the day I can walk past that case and dont feel guilt/angst/pressure will be the day I might start over. I want it to be a thing that I just do with a smile in the middle of vacuuming the basement and doing laundry.

Progress is also to stay away from lurking here and elsewhere. I don’t need to know about news, updates, new gear… nothing. I need to be totally clean. Even coming here to write, in response to the luuuuv is kinda hard and also automatically spawns thoughts I don’t want. But… i view this forums as…

and… I’m fine. It’s ok. And it will be.
Y’all take care and have a great Christmas and a happy new year. I’ll see you next… time, when it’s time.

Compressor swap in a ground heat pump.

So… sitting here thinking and webbing about pedals and stuff, waiting for the vacuuming process to tell me how bad my soldering is :bonk Had one leak I noticed when pushing nitrogen through the circuit. Fixed that, then I pushed to 20bar. Happy. Vacuuming… takes forever. Under 1000 micron now so… I’ll go have lunch.

Look at the old fucker… 17 years and they choose a compressor swap… next year something else will break for them :facepalm

For you Americans… this is a true damn workhorse of a compressor. Tried and tested. It’s the fender twin in heat pump nerdery.

This actually functioned amazingly, it was just old ...fuel oil is ungodly expensive nowadays, and it left a little residue everywhere..... heavy as hell though.

Man-cold… omg please pitty me…. Wife just smirks and grins at me. Wtf! We ain’t pretending mancold!!! It fucking hurts everywhere. And and and and this damn thing up behind the nose like above the throat… idk what it’s called, it must be fucking right underneath the brain… it pours out nasty stuff that doesn’t come out the nose. It goes down the throat damn it…. Found it!!!!!
That fucking thing has kept me awake all night.
:bonk :rofl :pitchforks

They were amazing. And I’m also surprised how well such heavy post-rock did on a venue like this. Drums and orchestra seems to have been the loudest as i could clearly hear the acoustic sound of them sometimes. Makes one remember how loud drums really are. The guitars were confined to the foh speakers, but it was loud enough for them to do on stage feedback and stuff.

But back to the post-rock thing. I mean… this is heavy “abuse” of reverb and delay and I love it. Many wouldn’t. But it proves to me, that it fucking works and sounds exactly like they intended it and how it sounds on the albums. Fantastic.
