I sure appreciate that @Sascha Franck ! I looked at the manual but must have missed it.Just plug your phones into its output. It's a multipurpose out.
That’s a cool idea.I use a ToneX One for a tube power amp sim with the tube preamps in my FM3's FX Loop, works great as I have three different tube power amp captures easily available via the HW, 6L6, EL34, and EL84 tube power amps, with level, gain, and BMT all easily available, and I really only touch the treble to somewhat mimic a presence control.
new Valeton GP-5
I’m assuming you’re doing this because you turned off the on-board poweramp sim to run the FM3 into a real amp and cab and send a “proper” signal (with poweramp and IR) to FOH?I use a ToneX One for a tube power amp sim with the tube preamps in my FM3's FX Loop, works great as I have three different tube power amp captures easily available via the HW, 6L6, EL34, and EL84 tube power amps, with level, gain, and BMT all easily available, and I really only touch the treble to somewhat mimic a presence control.
The old Vox Toinelab was very good in it's day, though now a dual-triode NuTube can faithfully mimic a starved plate 12AX7 like this old ToneLab, so technology marches on.
True but if it sounds good 10 yrs ago tubewise why wouldnt it still sound good? I still use mine snd it sounds good but yes doesnt have sll tje flair of newer techThe old Vox Toinelab was very good in it's day, though now a dual-triode NuTube can faithfully mimic a starved plate 12AX7 like this old ToneLab, so technology marches on.
Then buy the bigger Tonex pedal which has MIDI.I'm not bothered by the form factor of ToneX One. I don't need a ton of models in it and I don't need the effects, so a basic 3 band EQ and a level knob is really all I care about, presence and depth are cool too. However, the major shortcoming of the ToneX One is the omission of MIDI and I would gladly give up that tiny size for a regular sized pedal that has at least a MIDI TRS jack.
Sure, though the ToneLab was/is vintage amp modeling with the starved plate 12AX7, while the new VOX pedals have an all analog audio path with the NuTube dual-triode (plus additional solid state gain I imagine...), a totally different animal with no FX.True but if it sounds good 10 yrs ago tubewise why wouldnt it still sound good? I had it. It has too much crap I don't care about or need and it took up the space of 3 pedals on the boardThen buy the bigger Tonex pedal which has MIDI.

Those new vox smps should have a full array of effects onboard as that would sell more of them maybeSure, though the ToneLab was/is vintage amp modeling and the starved plate 12AX7, while the new Vox pedals have an all analog audio path with the NuTube dual-triode (plus additional solid state gain I imagine...), a totally different animal with no FX.
Rumors of a Series 2?Those new vox smps should have a full array of effects onboard as that would sell more of them maybe
