Do You Have Multiples Of The Same Guitar Amps Cabs & Pedals?

Many are called; few are chosen.

I doubt very many have the same exact amp, unless it's for a stereo rig, but I'd imagine plenty of us here have multiples of the same guitar. Course, they're probably not exactly the same, whether it be colors or PU's, or bridge types, etc.

I have 3 Majesties, and they're all very similar, just different colors/hardware finishes.

And sometime this year I'd like to add a 7-string, and one with a full Maple top, maybe on the same guitar. I love them that much.

And I have 2 of the same Mesa 4x12 cabs, both slant, both with V30's, but one's taller. Can't remember if they're the 240 watt version or the 280 watt though.

Nope, no multiples for me. I used to own 5 or so Strats, but ultimately I’m happier with fewer guitars.

I’ve got 1 combo amp, 1 head, and 1 direct pedalboard amp. The closest I’ve got to duplicate pedals is an LPD Eighty7 and an EAE Citadel, but even those are very different.

Nope.

Even with 35 guitars, some may have similar qualities, but every one of them is a unique model.

No duplicate fx pedals, but I have a few Dunlop mini expression pedals and a couple of boards using Cioks DC7 + Cioks 8 power supplies. Helix floor, HX Stomp XL, and HX One are also related, but not duplicates.

As for amps and cabs, they are all unique with the "exception" of my Badlander 100 head and Badlander 50 combo. I also have both a Line 6 DC25 & DC50 combo. Also have a pair of CLR Neo wedges.

I have a pair of Tone King Ironman II attenuators and a pair of Weber Z-Matcher impedance matching devices.

I’ve only got multiple expression pedals of the same type, soon to be 3 Fractal EV-1’s and 3 Mission Engineering SP-1’s for the 3 different rigs.

I’ve got 3 Strats, 2 Les Pauls and a JEM/RG/RG7, I want more of all of them.

Nothing is exactly the same, but close enough that I can plug everything into the same rig and not have to tweak anything, which is a bit intentional. Once I start playing out again I’ll definitely need at least one 1:1 backup of whatever guitar ends up being the main guitar.

No identical amps at the moment, but I have close substitutes and digital backups.

As for guitars, I have two Strats set up nearly identical and I have to HH guitars setup nearly identical as primary/backup for SSS and HH tones. Those cover 95% of my playing with a dual P90 guitar, a Cabronita Tele, and an EVH being my single guitars for something different, but no backup needed. I really don't feel the need for any more variety than that, and I am looking to offload the other two electrics I own.

On the pedal side, I do have some multiples and some close substitutes. I have a pair of PoT's and a pair of DoT's although one Prince has the low gain mod and in both cases, I use the pairs together as a poor man's KoT. Then there's two Tonex Ones, different paint, but same pedal. I also have a couple Klones, a few envelope filters, a couple wah's, and a few compressors that are very similar and interchangeable but not identical. Edit: I also have two identical Sunface BARTs!

I've got two Les Paul type guitars. Totally opposite price spectrums.

My Heatley Tradition is as boutique as it gets. Made in Canada, 2006 I think. Honduras mahogany, Brazilian rosewood, truly stellar construction all around. Wolfetone Dr. Vintage pickups. It's the gem of my collection for sure.

The Fenix LP copy is a 1990 made in South Korea guitar. I bought it super cheap used. It's got solid bones: a real maple cap, rosewood fretboard, mahogany body and neck, Gotoh hardware, interesting mix of LP Standard and Custom styling. Terrible electronics, so I fitted in Mastertone active pickups. It sounds and plays great. I've put a lot of love to it so I'd say it's like 80% as good as the Heatley.

Does it count that I have two BluGuitar Amp 1 models? The higher gain Iridium and the more classic Marshall voiced Mercury. Both are great amps.

I have two Marshall Studio JTM combos that I run in a full stereo configuration with an FM9T. It’s a compact rig that sounds much bigger, and can be hauled in one trip-Fractal in a Helix backpack, guitar in a bag over my shoulder, and an amp in each hand (they’re not heavy at all).

I have multiples of most of my guitars for live back-ups, depending on the gig.

4 Les Pauls
2 Strats
2 Teles
2 Iceman
2 Schecter 7 strings

I have redundant pedals but no duplicates.
