Do you buy guitars that are signature ?

I have owned two signature guitars. A Jackson So-Cal Misha Mansoor which I sold and now I have a PRS SE Mark Holcomb but I am not even a Periphery fan, I just liked the specs 🤷‍♂️

Guess I have to get a JBM9999 next 🤣🤣🤣

The only signature guitar I’ve ever owned:

The only other signature I’d love to have would be an Ibanez JEM77, but the prices on those have skyrocketed over the past few years.

Here’s my list of Epiphone signatures.
Japanese Lynyrd Skynyrd 2003 30th Anniversary gold top Les Paul.
Jared James Nichols Gold Glory Les Paul custom.
Noel Gallagher Riviera.
Billie Joe Armstrong Classic White Les Paul Junior.
Joan Jett Signature Olympic white special.
Slash November Burst Les Paul.
Slash Victoria Gold Top Les Paul Standard.
Nancy Wilson Fanatic Outfit Fire Burst.
Others.
Vintage V100 Midge Ure Trev Wilkinson Gold Top with Vibrola.
Squire J Mascis Jazzmaster.
PRS Zach Myers 594 Myers blue.
Fender RW Joe Strummer Telecaster.
Fender Joe Strummer Campfire black electro acoustic.
Fender 30th Annaversary Screamadelica Stratocaster.
Epiphone Tommy Thayer Electric Blue Les Paul.
My most recent addition A Epiphone Youngblud SG Junior Classic white.
I also added one of these (Only 50 made world wide ) to my Burns collection at the beginning of the year.

I have a Squier Matt Freeman P-Bass.

I like Rancid well enough, and I think Matt is an excellent player. But that didn't factor into my purchase. I just played it in a store one day and it was perfect - looked great, sounded great, and the price was right. I liked it better than the Fenders on the wall that cost 3X as much.

I have several Wolfgangs, which are my go to axe, but no Frankies to be found.

Stripes are Eddie's thing, but a Wolfgang is for anybody who wants to use it.

If you disagree, and play a Les Paul, you need a history lesson.

I don't have any signature guitars, though I think of my M-1 Custom 87 Series guitars as sort of Bruce Kulick guitars. Not that I wouldn't play a signature guitar, like Kirk, George, or Alexi's signature LTDs, but as of yet, I've not owned one.
