I have a Katana 50 MK1 and love it, for what it is. I'd bought one originally about a year ago and ended up giving it to a friend who did some custom work on two of my guitars for me. When I decided I wanted to replace that one, the MKII was out and I compared 'em, and bought a MKI. Wasn't really anything there on the II that warranted the extra $50.
However, I'm a one-trick pony whose old live rig consisted of a Boss SD1 into the front of a JCM900 sitting on two Carvin 412s. Never been the "50 shades of chorus/reverb/flanger" guy or any of that, primarily cause I'm just not a good enough player for those things.
