It a really strange one , but if stuff on FB and comments that MF sales people have made are true or even remotely accurate they have 3000 on order with 1900 pre orders so they still have 1100 or so coming in Nov/Dec
Maybe Sweetwater just did not order as many or more batches smaller sizes ?

canceling because Fractal might eventually support NAM seems a little arbitrary.

As I’m the only one I know of that canceled their order, I’ll address this.

Although I did kinda imply it was because of Fractal announcing NAM support, there are actually multiple reasons I decided to cancel.

The primary reason is that I’ve been using the QC a lot lately and that reinforced both how much I like it overall and how much I enjoy using their plugin devices on it. Additionally, I’ve been using the Badlander a lot and enjoying that too.

I also realized there’s really no reason for me to grab one so quickly. With the FM3 and FM9, I got on the waitlist as early as possible because Fractal gear can sell out fast and be out of stock for long periods which would drive me nuts. Although I originally had that same mindset with Stadium, I realized that’s far less likely to be a concern due to Line 6’s size and ability to produce units in very high quantities.

Yet another reason is that there have been a few questions about exactly what will be included when it ships. I think we already know Proxy is a future implementation. I had preordered the QC and ended up canceling that preorder when there were similar questions about getting the plugins on there. In that case plugin compatibility was one of my primary reasons for being excited about the QC. I was very glad I canceled my preorder for it as it took waaaaay longer than expected—I’d have been annoyed for a long time. Although it’s not quite the same thing here for me, it’s ballpark enough that it was also a contributing factor.

Well one guy has one that got away , got to say he was very respectful he offered not to show it or post any clips but the response from Line6 was also great , Frank told him open it up , play it and just to post a support ticket and they would have someone get in touch and walk him through the 1.1 update as it not yet available

As cool as the device is - Frank and Eric are even cooler. The whole company is just one of those that makes you want to do business with. Class acts.

Frank is great. He's one of the few people I miss from ToS since I started spending most of my gear nerd time here (most of the others hang out here). Not only was he super helpful in the nascent days of my Helix journey, he's the only person from Line 6 who gave me with a like when I mentioned wanting to see a Marshall 4140 model in Helix. Cool on top of being a great Line 6 ambassador.

Says a lot about Line 6 that instead of being pouty over a mistake someone else made, they went out of their way to make his experience as good as they possibly could under the circumstances. That M.O./culture is as much behind my decision to do a Stadium preorder as my satisfaction with my trusty LT was.

Well, thanks to AZG, I now have two preorders in: Sweetwater put in on Day One and MF put in this morning. With the 15% discount and $166 in credit, I'd be foolish not to cancel the Sweetwater order, I guess, even if MF ends up being a later ship date.

Interestingly, the email from MF says: "This item is available but requires extended shipping time. You will not be charged until the item ships."

The order page says, "This item is backordered but is available to reserve now."

-The sound isn't just heard it is felt. My LT has been amazing, but compared the Stadium XL it doesn't compete. It is amazing for what it is, but the response and articulate tones of the Stadium XL are next level
