I guess it’s similar to buying (4) 12” "FRFR"’s but they’re all in one 4x12 cabinet so it looks like a standard 4x12.I understand all that, but a normal 4x12 doesn't have a 2400 watt power amp, a custom ir loader and all these options.
It isn't even a fair comparison.
Obviously it isn't for all.....
At least it isn't some plastic alto pos.
From my understanding these are handmade in England, so it will last.
In a way, that IS Laney. They do not appeal to everyone, but to those that they do appeal to....those people love it.I guess it’s similar to buying (4) 12” ""FRFR""’s but they’re all in one 4x12 cabinet so it looks like a standard 4x12.
It’s definitely a niche product.
No you can’t. A Mesa 4x12 is $1500. Unless you’re talking used, and then yeah, you can get a lot of things cheaper used. That definitely makes me interested to check them out, but I'll be leery of ""FRFR"" "I'm a real boy" until I feel it in my face.
Edit- I can buy two Mesa 4x12's for the cost of one of those. That's gonna be a nope from me, dog.
I wouldn't trifle with a man who rocks a beanie like that.It all makes total sense to me now.
These came out and I thought to myself, "What crazy bastard in his right mind would use these?"

This isn’t an apples to apples comparison either since A. one is full range and one’s not and B. you’d still need a power amp for the Mesa cabs as well.
Sound financial advice.I wouldn't buy a Mesa cab for $1500, either, not when I can find them all day for $800.
