Changing a hardwired speaker to a speaker out jack?

In an amp like an AC15HW where the speaker wires come directly out of the chassis and connect to the speaker, is it possible to change that to a 14” output from the chassis with a 1/4” plug going to the speaker (like a DRRI)?

Yep, dead simple. I did that to my 79 Champ so I could use it with other cabs and load boxes. Was possible to do non-destructively too so it can be returned to original too if need be.

If you want to do it right, you'd install a 1/4" jack on the amp metal chassis.

If you want to do it easy, then just cut the speaker wire and install a jack on that and maybe mount it somewhere on the combo chassis wooden parts.

If you just want to swap speakers, install quick connectors on the speaker end of the cable.

Should be easy to do as mentioned. There are conversion kits for combo amps to make them into a head and that is part of the conversion.
