Carl Martin Panama

Just wondering if any of you guys have tried or use this pedal. It’s probably my favorite MIAB pedal of all time and yet I don’t hear it mentioned much.

Is it just me?

I was intrigued ever since I saw Pete's video on it, never seen or heard much of it since. Really liked what I heard and would love to try one indeed.

I wonder if it is based off the Carl Martin Plexitone, which was/is a great MIAB as well?

I have both. It is definitely hot-rodded/modded compared to the PlexiTone. Panama has more gain and a sweeter harmonic top end. Plus you can tighten or loosen the bottom with the damping control. I think it‘s great.
