I get that there was an era where people wanted higher gain amps and there wasn’t the options available we have now. You could also pick these up much cheaper than now, and there wasn’t the cheap clones/shared information like we have today.

Those JMP’s were made in pretty huge numbers, but I think there’s no need to destroy old Marshalls any more. It makes way more sense for those modders to work off a kit or spec their own custom transformers and chassis etc as they’re so easily available. Works out way cheaper than paying over the odds for an old collectors piece just to destroy it.

That Cameron mod looks insane now, because it would have been so much quicker/cheaper/easier to just have a PCB made and drop that in

its got a couple push/pull knobs, nothing on the back though and no loop. heres a clip i did i think represents pretty well how it sounds
