BOSS Katana MKIII

To you.

I'm still playing mine! It's great - though I wish they'd included some sort of setting storage. I'm stuck with writing them down. :sneaky:
Yea to me… of course… tones are always subjective. Any opinions are not to be taken personally. I have no allegiance to any company

If anything, people would think I'm a Roland/BOSS fetishist. I've got 5 Blues Cubes, the Katana Artist Mk II, the Nextone Special, a GT-1000CORE, and about 40 of their pedals.

But I also really like my THR100HD.

lol the thr100 he was a massive fail to me after trying many times hoping it was not. It wasn’t improved upon because it was a fail
The THR100 is a really nice sounding amp, with a laundry list of things that should be better. It should have more power, proper MIDI control, volume control for the boost and more.

It kills me that there was never a 2nd gen version of the stereo version, because that was a helluva cool amp in concept.

No, I believe you I’ve never played one yet but like I said if I find one used on the floor guitar center I’m more interested in the next tone special. I’ll probably buy it at least a ticket home and try for 45 days compared to my katanas and see What I do like my katanas in stereo with all the effects.
I wonder why boss has not evolved the next tone. I’m not sure if it’s even been discontinued, but they keep evolving the katana
I was excited by the Nextone when it came out. When I got a chance to try one at the store I was really disappointed. It wasnt terrible but just seemed lifeless compared to the Katana. I heard that some tweaking in the deeper settings can fix that issue, but I moved on at that point.
