Bud, I play Boss live exclusively these days. Doesn’t mean they make any sense with how/what features are present across devices or their unique workflow options. L6 still hasn’t added input dynamic parameter control that has existed in Bossland since forever.

No, just regular parametric EQ like on other Boss devices.

Not sure what Katana Go is an equivalent of, but it has presence and some other stuff not on GX-1. I actually quite like the tones I get from Katana Go (and play it more that Helix Native, feels better), which is why I wanted something along that line, but with more convenience GX-1 offers, such as buttons for every effect in the chain, screen, quicker editing...
I think I'll stick with the Go for now.

These manufacturers are way ahead of you the way they think they leave these things off and bring out this new product with something at that product doesn’t have and it’s all about marketing and getting people to buy this or that it’s total manipulation

Also, in my country the GX-1 costs 285€, which is $336. Screw that.
I can get a used GT1000 Core for 150€ more.

I paid 225 euros mine, converting to my local currency it gives the result of 225 euros. I guess Boss manages to get products here without much "taiwan" tax
