The Polar Go looks like being a great little unit for iPhone recordings with video, but if I'm making a simple video with an acoustic guitar I find it much easier to use my MacBook webcam and QuickTime. Yes. It sounds awful. My question is, if QuickTime accepts an external mic, is there any reason why it couldn't be the Polar Go? it would be especially useful to hear from someone who had actually tried it. The only thing I can personally confirm is I've had no trouble downloading the app onto my MacBook.
