Midi expression pedal?

Yeaaaah, but... 🤮 I already have a bunch of TRS exp pedals that would've been great paired to this box.

EDIT: The manual has no mention of MIDI control messages for wah, so is it not possible to use external wah pedals at all.

Apparently firmware 1.2 is available now for the ID:X Floor. I wanted to look to see if there were any new features (i.e. NAM support), but their stupid fucking website doesn't let you download anything for a product you haven't registered. As if their manuals and firmware have information important to national security.

Quick Start Guide and the manual is here.

I hear you. Even with the HX Stomp I thought about giving up on all fussing with programming the expression pedal and just spending the money on a good volume+wah.
Yeah, if I'm not going to use the expression pedal to control parameters of effects in real time, and I just want a wah and a volume, I'd also rather have a wah and a volume. I don't even use wah, and I have good volume pedals.

The volume location on the Three is not good. There's no option to have it after the amp but before the post-amp effects. It's either at the front of the chain or at the very end. Neither option is usable to me. My volume block always needs to be after the amp but before post-amp effects.

From the manual:
When in VOL mode, hold EXP (23) to toggle between Pre (before the preamp) and Post (at the end of the signal chain). The screen will show which mode you are currently on.

One thing that jumped out to me on Henning's video while he was going through patches is that volume was really uniform across all of them, regardless of gain levels.

Seems to me that limitations around the expression pedal as a volume block are intentional, for better or for worse.

How would he get your screen shot?
Because I posted it here:

Maybe I'm new here, but I can't stand it when others take credit for other people's work. It's disloyal. If you can stand it, maybe you should work more :grin

Alright kid, calm down. Did it take you a long time to do?
It's not about the time spent, it's about citing the source of your information. I'm a scientist, and I always include the source of everything I do. I don't think I'm saying anything crazy; it's out of respect for those who do.

I'm going to try out the pedalboard, which is why I bought it and why I'm following this thread.

Did you actually create the image? Your post at TGP doesn't say you created it, there is just the image. Either way, Mr. Scientist, go bum a duck.

Why would the floor1 even bother having wah effects if no pedal input?
