Best Modeller / Capture device for old Orange tones

Hi! I am new here =)

A bit backstory: I am currently on a FM9 for a few years and been quite impressed. Sounds are there. Since I am a massive Fuzzhead, I use several external fuzzes. But from time to time its strikes me, and I want old Orange tones. Sadly, they aren't offered in the Fractal, the Rockerverb model doesn't sound as fuzzy as in real. OR120 or OR80 aren't in there.

So.. which device has the best Orange tones?

I was thinking about getting a QC for that purpose. But I don't know how good the Orange captures are.
Maybe I should just add a Crazy Tubes Orama to the board, it sounds pretty authentic in the videos. Has anyone experience with that?

A real Amp isn't an option price wise because I don't have a loadbox.

Thank you =)

Welcome!

First question: dill pickles or sweet pickles??

Ok now the less important stuff. Which Orange amp would you specifically like the tone of? Maybe someone with a QC, Tonex, or NAM can find or make a V2 capture and provide a clip or something. I believe those are the three most highly regarded capture devices right now.

With that said, Fractal stuff is typically pretty damned accurate so maybe a Fractal user can help you dial it in to your tastes.

Pretty much every single channel orange which isn't a terror, so CS50, OR80, OR120 or even the newer OR30.

The Stadium OR models and overall stoner/doom stuff is GREAT
I did not know that the Stadium has OR models! The last time I had a Helix, the Orange models on that were soso

Anything in here approach what you want? I think the FM9 can run the tonematch IRs? I can’t remember. I know it can’t do the actual tone matching.

@deadpool_25 yeah, I have both these Presets. It can run tonematch IRs (they are just normal IRs).

Those Presets arent that bad BUT they are nothing like the real amp. No fuzzyness which makes the amps so special. And for the OR120 they are just using an amp which is close to it but they don't go in the modifiers to really modifiy it. So it never react or sound like the real amp :D
