I Almost made the mistake of going with the FM3 but the wise folks here, especially @jellodog made me see the light of getting the FM9T
and well certainly no regrets here the FM 9 does everything i want, But of course its always a question of what one needs and wants, for some the FM3T is more than plenty for their needs

Well In the sense that I wanted to Keep my Helix and enter the foray with a FM3
and I knew the fact that 3 Footswitches would not be enough for what I want to accomplish, nor having only 1 amp block
so... Im sure my Helix would have sat in a corner and Id be wanting more than a FM3
best decision was for me to Sell my Helix and get the FM 9 turboz

You know I make jokes but it’s got to be frustrating being unable to be satisfied with any piece of gear more that 2 weeks

I mean we all get gas and want to try out the new stuff but that guy is always on the hunt it’s like a need to find something that works not a that’s cool I want to try that

The problem is it a fools errand as nothing is going to do everything you want if you are that picky and you end up just going in circles and probably losing mondo $$$$ in the process

The thing that is moronic is flipping stuff over and over and revisiting the same stuff time and again. Have never done that, even when I could only afford one rig at a time. As you note, the people doing that pathologically are taking major financial losses over time (no matter what their claims) and that is assuming your time has zero value...

I guarantee you there is some kind of weird ADD/addiction thing going on w/ some TGPers who flip stuff at super high rates, often literally without unboxing or in some cases even, having taken delivery of said thing. They're addicted to the 'action' it's like gambling is for some folks or something.
