With hindsight it’s probably true to say I just wanted to give the TMP a decent tryout and that is why I bought the unit so I think you are probably wise to take selection more seriously. I end up with too much gear I don’t need! I wouldn’t dismiss the TMP without trying it, at least at a store, though. It’s pretty good and should also improve with updates - although updates are also a bit of an unknown quantity with the TMP at this stage.

In the past I was using a local install of Stable Diffusion, but there is now a free DALL-E 3 preview open to the public on Bing, which works great. Have fun and be careful not to get addicted

I believe Fractal has said that to them 64 KHz sample rate would be ideal without going excessive, but it's an oddball setting not really supported by anything else. 44 vs 48 KHz won't really matter much, I assume TMP uses plenty of oversampling internally. I mean my Strymon Iridium doesn't...

I had a band rehearsal last night, and instead of my usual band presets I spent most of the night on the Axe 3 JTM factory preset. To be honest, it’s because I’m gassing hard for the Marshall Studio JTM, and just needed to remind myself that I already have that sound covered.
