Hahahaha I'd love to see what would actually impress Tim at this point, I think it'd take an altar rising up from the modeler with the actual amp head sitting atop, then the artist who inspired the tone Tim is looking for comes out in a butler outfit and dials in the amp while feeding grapes to Tim. And it costs $25 but there'll be a Black Friday sale coming up soon, twelve fiddy and if you bought a hot tub in the last 3 year you get an additional 69% discount.
Put this in the AI image maker @SwirlyMaple

What’s the idea behind an FM0, just a device you entirely control on your computer or BYOMC? (Bring your own midi controller)
More like a desk or pedalboard unit that is remote controlled but less chonky than the FM3.

For me the FM3's 3 footswitches was never quite enough so you ended up with navigation nonsense, hold functions and all that.

I currently use the FC12 Mk1 with my Axe-Fx 3 and most of the time can use a single layout to do all I need. Realistically the FC6 would be enough too.

This makes sense. Mine is living on a desk and I’ve actually touched it once, which was my brief foray into accidentally going into shunt mode followed by “why did you touch anything dumbass, go back to the editor” episode.

Honestly, I'd like an FM0 with just FAS models as well. For me, I think that would be a good introduction to Fractal, because my M.O. is finding THE amp model, and building FX around that, for a preset.

That's what I do now, (kind of a digital way to do an analog rig that I would use live), and always have done, so finding 25 different models that I love, is counterproductive and wouldn't really do me any good, because I'd want to pick just one or two, and roll with it.

I hear you. I’ll probably land on a handful of go-to models, but exploring everything is fun. I’m about 1/3rd through demoing the full amp list, and if I had to stop now I’d be content, there is already a ton of great tones.

From the first AI Pic... LOL.

Sign on the left... Best Black Frudy Sale ever.

How could anyone pass up Shilled OILNEB Fo $39.

And is that a Synergy module in the face plate of the head? :ROFLMAO:

ETA: What's the conversion on $25 Baerx to USD? :wat. And why did the AI add a salad bar sneeze shield to the hotub in the third image?

since i get alot of crap here i will tell you my thoughts. The tmp gui is cool but the number of amps in tems of variety suks and I am not convinced by the marshal and vox from what i have heard. so.... the fm9t seems a better variety and matured unit BUT..the gui is crap in general. Editor is good but dont want to be tied to a pc or even an small iphone screen to toggle around to edit it.In the end neither really wows me and at this point I am not buying -JUST TO BUY AND TRY AT THIS POINT. yEA you guys can flame me all you want but i am not the on ly one thinking like this about these units.
With hindsight it’s probably true to say I just wanted to give the TMP a decent tryout and that is why I bought the unit so I think you are probably wise to take selection more seriously. I end up with too much gear I don’t need! I wouldn’t dismiss the TMP without trying it, at least at a store, though. It’s pretty good and should also improve with updates - although updates are also a bit of an unknown quantity with the TMP at this stage.
