How kind I find out the impedance curve for the Friedman 412? (Note I’m using the York IRs of it not a dynacab or stock fractal cab)
Amp block>speaker tab> see cool graph and picker

I’ll fire it back up in a minute (giving my ears a rest ) but it will tell me what to set it at based on the IR I load?

Well it will have a stock curve if using IR (like mine is always the 5153 cab if using a IR). You can then select which one you want (with most picking the one that matches the IR). DynaCabs will automatically matchI’ll fire it back up in a minute (giving my ears a rest ) but it will tell me what to set it at based on the IR I load?
I might need an FM9. Wish it had a mic preamp, but I can work around that.
No matter how many comparisons I listen to, the quality of Fractal’s modeling stands above everyone else. It’s the only one that consistently reproduces all the clarity and sparkle from upper harmonics that you get from a real amp. It also has the most dynamic low-end attack and depth, especially for high gain amps. Other modelers sound ok until you hear them side by side with Fractal—then the others start to sound like they’re trapped inside a cereal box.
What I’d really like is a Helix Floor with Helix UI and Fractal’s modeling. That would be the dream rig for me.
It’s sure to happen someday. Maybe soon. Especially since there’s no waiting list for the FM9 anymore.

If you can get @FractalAudio to add a spring reverb that sounds as good as the convolution one in the Tone Master Pro, my money will be on the way immediately@SwirlyMaple Fretworn is right. We need you to join so that both he and myself can move up to Level 8.
Newvictims… errr I mean, members validate the cult.
York Audio actually shares info about this in the PDF "manuals" that come with an IR pack. How kind I find out the impedance curve for the Friedman 412? (Note I’m using the York IRs of it not a dynacab or stock fractal cab)
That is the Line6 JCM80059 SLP
5153 Red (Odd because when I owned it I loved the Blue channel and hated the Red)
800 Mod
Brit Brown
You go first Swirly. I'm a late bloomer and just starting to get comfortable with the Helix, y'all don't twist my arm into getting a FM3/9.It’s sure to happen someday. Maybe soon. Especially since there’s no waiting list for the FM9 anymore.

Ears shot. No more guitar today.
Big question, so is it better than the QC?Blasted through two more columns.
More of the same, awesome Marshall smorgasbord… Brit Super, Studio, Silver. All excellent.
I accidentally went to the Carr Ambler (been trying to plow through the gainy stuff) and that thing has some real potential. Dialed in a pretty sweet dark and broody clean with a touch of grit.
Das Metal, exactly what you expect. Cornfordbread 50 I actually liked most with Sat on for some reason, seemed to tighten it up nice.
I don’t know what the Class A 30w Hot model is but that thing caught me by surprise. Snappy, crisp. Badass. Out of right field on this one here, but very cool with some dialing in.
Surprise of these two column of amps… Cameron CCV. We will meet again. Some real tasty stuff here once you get the OD and gain levels dialed in. Very good stuff here.
