Atomic Tonocracy (Inc NAM support)

I have the licensed version of Tonocracy and I can't load any NAM models. I'm dragging them into the library as instructed. The models came from a github repository as well as Tonehunt. Anyone successful in importing NAM?

Ah never mind. I'll leave this here in case anyone else runs into this. I was trying to drop a NAM on a Capture Block but you have to drop a NAM on an Amp Block. Easy way to get an Amp Block in the chain is to load a Factory Preset.

Installed update that was released today and it converted my paid license to DEMO....
WTF? Hoping I did something wrong but so far can't find it if I did. I logged in at web site downloaded the only Mac version I see.

I had this once happen. In my case ilok was looking fir the license in ilok cloud instead of the dongle.

I know I have ilok account but if you mean a piece of hardware dongle, like usb drive, I never have had that.

i just checked the ilok site. It shows a Tonocracy license active for my MacBook with expiration date specified as “Never”
there is no place I see that might give an indication of an error or some difficulty, technical interruption etc.

Seems if you have one of the paid captures or IRs loaded it changes to demo until you remove them.
If I try to make use of any of the new captures add by the firmware update it switches to DEMO.
Even if I remove the paid preset before trying the new ones the problem persists. Also if I make a new preset adding a new Amalgam Audio capture that came with the firmware update it happens.
But if I use one of my captures or a downloaded capture it is working as it should.

Ive reinstalled the update, no solution there.

The new Amalgam capture are paid. Not sure how one buys them?

If they are "paid" as in 'need to be purchased to use them then I'd prefer they don't get automatically loaded into my menu. As much as I love Amalgam Audio if this is the norm then we will all have a lot of scrolling to deal with in the future as all of you content providers turn out more and more. So if that is the situation I'd like to have only content in that menu system that I can actually use. Put the 'store' elsewhere please, a link somewhere in the user interface that opens if we want to go shopping.
I read the notes for the update and inferred there was new content, as in, paid for by virtue of buying the full version

Yeah, @atomicamps how do you hide content you don't own? I have no interest in seeing the SWRT, FMAN, or FLKSN VII packs unless I own them.
remember that was just speculation on my part. I’ve been wrong before.i sent a ticket in and they already responded with questions so it might not be what i was hypothetically getting on about…

I hope so. I tried deleting the packs and couldn't, then tried moving them to a "junk" folder and couldn't. I just don't want this to become a bloated IKM or Two Notes mess where you're navigating a common pool that contains both things you own and those you don't.

I just updated on Windows... no obvious problems. I have had to set my interface - the Tascam Model 12 - to 48 kHz as 44.1 puts out loud distortion. One thing on my wish list - the ability to select and delete/drag multiple amps, cabs, presets, etc instead of having to operate on one at a time. Also be nice if there was a warning if you were about to delete a block that was being used in one of your user presets... or maybe even better - if those elements had a red dot beside them or some other indicator. 😏 Edit - although I did just notice that the amp is contained in the preset and not deleted if you delete the amp from its collection. Someone let me know if I'm wrong about this...

If you open an existing preset, highlight the amp capture then double click on one of the Amalgam Audio amp captures that were included in the 1.2.0 update does that make the DEMO version ‘turn on ‘?

EDIT: Yup... Yep... some of those Amalgam throw me into DEMO mode, but I come right back after dropping an older amp in. I reported that it wasn't happening at first but I wasn't choosing the new captures that came with the upgrade...

Well there has been no further communication from Tonocracy regarding the ticket. But at TOP there seems to be a consensus that these are 'For Purchase' content not 'New Content added' as the firmware update notes fooled me into thinking. Yes it is 'literally' content that is new that is added but for those of us that are active in the consumption of products in this niche a firmware update that drops 'new' content is free content.

So my concerns live on. Please just put a single link to open the 'store' where we can buy content you are selling. If you are hell bent on a simple folder tree a la Windows 98 put it in a stand alone folder at the top or bottom of the tree and name it Store.

The idea that you would turn the Tonocracy experience into a Quad Cortex's content jumble fiasco or Two Notes or IK Multimedia's in your face style really sucks. I often refuse to buy food from airport restaurants because their service and pricing are based on a captive audience.
We are not captives here, we have options...

You may need to check your email. A response was sent to you at 6:36 PM EST last night - 4 minutes after your last comment. No further communication from you after that.

We hear the feedback from you and others in this thread. Thank you for sharing. It is considered.

"We hear the feedback... It is considered." is one of those sentences that instills very little confidence, but I hope my pessimism isn't proved right. The ask is pretty simple and reasonable--allow us to hide or move content we don't fully own or can't fully use.

I think we’ve shown on a few occasions since the product was launched about a month ago that we have been working to improve Tonocracy and have considered customers feedback.
