I had this once happen. In my case ilok was looking fir the license in ilok cloud instead of the dongle.Installed update that was released today and it converted my paid license to DEMO....
WTF? Hoping I did something wrong but so far can't find it if I did. I logged in at web site downloaded the only Mac version I see.
I know I have ilok account but if you mean a piece of hardware dongle, like usb drive, I never have had that.I had this once happen. In my case ilok was looking fir the license in ilok cloud instead of the dongle.
If I try to make use of any of the new captures add by the firmware update it switches to DEMO.Seems if you have one of the paid captures or IRs loaded it changes to demo until you remove them.
The new Amalgam capture are paid. Not sure how one buys them?If I try to make use of any of the new captures add by the firmware update it switches to DEMO.
Even if I remove the paid preset before trying the new ones the problem persists. Also if I make a new preset adding a new Amalgam Audio capture that came with the firmware update it happens.
But if I use one of my captures or a downloaded capture it is working as it should.
Ive reinstalled the update, no solution there.
remember that was just speculation on my part. I’ve been wrong before.i sent a ticket in and they already responded with questions so it might not be what i was hypothetically getting on about…Yeah, @atomicamps how do you hide content you don't own? I have no interest in seeing the SWRT, FMAN, or FLKSN VII packs unless I own them.
I hope so. I tried deleting the packs and couldn't, then tried moving them to a "junk" folder and couldn't. I just don't want this to become a bloated IKM or Two Notes mess where you're navigating a common pool that contains both things you own and those you don't.remember that was just speculation on my part. If you open an existing preset, highlight the amp capture then double click on one of the Amalgam Audio amp captures that were included in the 1.2.0 update does that make the DEMO version ‘turn on ‘?I just updated on Windows... no obvious problems. I have had to set my interface - the Tascam Model 12 - to 48 kHz as 44.1 puts out loud distortion. One thing on my wish list - the ability to select and delete/drag multiple amps, cabs, presets, etc instead of having to operate on one at a time. Also be nice if there was a warning if you were about to delete a block that was being used in one of your user presets... or maybe even better - if those elements had a red dot beside them or some other indicator. Edit - although I did just notice that the amp is contained in the preset and not deleted if you delete the amp from its collection. Someone let me know if I'm wrong about this...
EDIT: Yup... Yep... some of those Amalgam throw me into DEMO mode, but I come right back after dropping an older amp in. I reported that it wasn't happening at first but I wasn't choosing the new captures that came with the upgrade...If you open an existing preset, highlight the amp capture then double click on one of the Amalgam Audio amp captures that were included in the 1.2.0 update does that make the DEMO version ‘turn on ‘?
You may need to check your email. A response was sent to you at 6:36 PM EST last night - 4 minutes after your last comment. No further communication from you after that.Well there has been no further communication from Tonocracy regarding the ticket.
I think we’ve shown on a few occasions since the product was launched about a month ago that we have been working to improve Tonocracy and have considered customers feedback."We hear the feedback... It is considered." is one of those sentences that instills very little confidence, but I hope my pessimism isn't proved right. The ask is pretty simple and reasonable--allow us to hide or move content we don't fully own or can't fully use.
