Atomic Amps latest version modeling in Firebox MkII only?

Would a used or new AA6 have the newest versions or is the Firebox MkII the only hardware that runs it?

I'm as sure as I can be about this subject that only the AFB runs the newest firmware. The A6 and A12 being left behind and not getting that update, despite AA saying it was a priority or top of the list or something like that, is one of the handful of reasons many (including myself) are wary of any promises from AA.
