j/k, there's a couple new effects as well, including Octaver, Simple Delay and Chorus.

Great update, and damn it Neural with your quality promo videos. WGAF about a plugin at the end of the day, but art is gonna art!

Plugin sounds killer, everything works great, low latency on my Mac. New chorus isn't life changing but it's a really nice thing to have. Wish they changed the ping pong to a % scale but that's about the only complaint. Transpose is such a great feature too, especially as I'm messing around with Kings X songs in different drop tunings.

They should have just sold a standalone pedal with Plini in it and a few different footswitches for presets instead of the QC.

Funny you say this. I'd been using Plini, which was my maiden voyage into plug-ins, for a while when the QC came out. I bought the QC after having purchased another half dozen of their plug in suites and went to town in Neural land. 12-14 months later just gave up on it all and went back to amps. BUT the one takeaway from the entire experience was that I should have just stopped after buying Plini and called it a day. It's such a great all around suite and the Friedman BE they modeled for his Amp #2 was really all anyone really needed if you could only have one digital amp imo. That thing is so killer!

I have a few NDSP plugins. Plini is easily my favorite, but Tim Henson is good (for lower gain but not crystal clear), Soldano for a different high gain tone, Tone King for vintage combo tones. I'll probably get the Darkglass for bass during black friday sales.

I thought the high gain amp in Plini was modeled after a 5153?? It was a Friedman?

Oh wait, the Friedman is amp 2? Amp 1 is a Fender of some sort and amp 3 is the 5153?

Either way, nice update for sure! I will say, the new amp UI and pedals look much tackier than the previous versions. I don't like the aesthetic, downgrade IMO. Everything else is a welcome upgrade.

Absolutely, the White / Crunch amp with the gain up, a touch of compression, and just enough delay & reverb for body and you could go from clean to mean with your guitar's volume knob. It was my feet-free rig. Every NDSP plugin after Plini either covered less ground, or was more specialized. The three amps in Plini can do anything.

No, the X in this scenario denotes it will eventually be QC compatible
“Eventually” does that come before or after ‘soon’?
It’s getting hard to keep track of vague promises. I miss the good old days when manufacturers picked a day on the calendar and just told us what day they picked. You show up that day and your stuff was right there!

MGGA!
Make GAS great again!
